DC MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT & DAVID HARRISON LEVI - STARMAKER PRESENT - - ROCK THE FOOD DRIVE," charity event with Los Angeles Mission, The Los Angeles Mission
http://www.losangelesmission.org/ - The Los Angeles Mission is a nonprofit organization serving the homeless living on the streets of downtown's Skid Row.
This charity event is to get as many people to donate food or funds to the homeless, Los Angeles Mission. We will be screening a video clip up on the TV's in the Aqua Lounge, Beverly Hills, and talk about what the Los Angeles Mission has been doing and are prepared to keep doing to help feed the homeless, and have the men, women and children get back in to society.
For more than 70 years, the Los Angeles Mission has effectively addressed the challenges of homelessness, drug addiction and alcohol abuse in the heart of the Skid Row section of Los Angeles.
Last year the Mission provided to homeless men, women and children:
· 544,539 hot meals
· 136,403 nights of safe shelter
· 212,620 articles of clean clothing
· Daily showers, shaves and temporary baggage service to hundreds of people
Of long-term importance, the Mission ministry team offers a comprehensive, spiritually based program of recovery, transformation and transition.
The twenty four-month Fresh Start Rehabilitation Program provides and an intense regimen of personal and spiritual counseling, vocational training, and continuing education. The academic offerings of our Urban Training Institute (UTI) are provided in partnership with the Belmont Community Adult School and are geared toward GED preparation.
The UTI concept reinforces the Mission’s efforts to revive dignity and opportunity to the destitute men and women of Los Angeles, and promotes a passion for lifelong learning as “students” preparing to re-enter society, rather than as “residents of a rescue mission Rehab program.”
Services to women and children are available through the Mission’s Anne Douglas Center. Last year, 6,352 women and children received counseling, showers, hygiene and clothing.
Career counseling and job placement is a focus of the Mission’s effort to help men and Women get back into society as healthy, productive and spiritually sensitive individuals.

8:30pm - Dylan Nash,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h49TJPlErgg - Dylan Nash is an engaging young front man and powerhouse
vocalist you have to see and hear to believe. He brings his own unique sound, but you can’t help but feel you are
witnessing an 11-year-old version of rock’s greatest legends. Before he could speak, Dylan was belting songs by James Brown,
Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix. By age 9 he took to the stage with his band to surprising crowds at LA’s hottest
venues including Henry Fonda (Music Box), The Gibson Center, Les Deux, The Roxy, and The Whiskey. He has performed with Steven Adler, Bruce Kulick, Ace Frehley and Seth Binzer of Crazytown to name a few. His band performed at several red carpet events and opened up for Grammy Award winner Sleepy Brown, formerly of Outkast, The Chelsea Girls, DIS, Purple Melon, Seth Binzer of Crazytown and performed at the 2010 NAMM and Namm Jam.
With the attitude and swagger of a veteran, Dylan commands the stage. His presence and moves are reminiscent of his primary influences; Steven Tyler, Robert Plant, Freddy Mercury and Mick Jaggar – yet he has a style all his own that leaves audiences buzzing long after the show is over.
Dylan fronted the band Automatic Youth in 2009-10 and played engagements across Los Angeles. Dylan is now working on a new project with some amazing writers/producers.

STONEBREED live takes you back to arena rock days, complete with a Comical Charismatic front man, 2 equally sizzling dynamic lead guitar players, a bass player with chops, moves, some Rock Star antics, and a Solid Heavy Hitting drummer with serious Skills. STONEBREED throws a mix of old school Hard Rock at you with songs like Shoot You Down, Back Home, Whiskey Well, & Rattlesnake Johnny, Also a little southern influence on songs like Last Dollar, and Im leaving.
