Buzzcation will head over to Crosswoods Indoor Golf & Tavern (@CrossWoodsGolf ) in Gilbert. They presented some deals we just couldn’t refuse. So, hop on US 60 East and drive…for a while, and then exit Higley going south, and turn east on Baseline. Look for an industrial-looking building with lights on the roof, NOT a strip mall, a’ight. This place is pretty huge! We'll wait for you...we're starting a little later this time.

Crosswoods Indoor Golf & Tavern is not only an indoor golf facility where you can play over 35 different worldwide golf courses, but it’s also a sports bar and restaurant. This is beyond putt-putt or Wii, mind you. (http://crosswoodsgolf.com) Buzzcation attendees will enjoy extended happy hour prices on drinks ($2.50 drafts and $3 wine) and appetizers starting at $3.00. Two simulators will be set up for golf contests, such as Closest to the Pin and Longest/Straightest Drive. Attendees can play billiards and darts at no cost, or play a round of golf in one of the simulators at a discounted fee (example: $17.50/person for 9 holes; $12.50/person for ½ hour for the driving range). And yes, you can certainly come in your best golf outfit! In fact, we encourage that.

This is an awesome opportunity for East Valley social media butterflies to experience the event that has connected so many people. So if you know EV suburbanites, TELL THEM TO GET OUT OF THEIR HOMES & INVITE THEM! Attendees can mingle with fellow Tweeters and Facebookers they’ve only known through avatars and 140-character status updates. And the best part is: Everyone gets a chance to help the Japanese relief efforts as the event’s charity of choice. The suggested donation is $5 per person. Raffle tickets for awesome prizes (see below) from local businesses will be sold at $2 each. As for the golf contests, just $1 each!
