Create your own application that is accessible from Facebook's application registry, interacting with the Facebook developer platform and seamlessly creating a unique user experience on this popular social network.
An understanding of web scripting languages is preferred but not required.
Anna will show you how to create a quick Facebook application using the extensive social data available from Facebook's Open Graph protocol. She
will also explain how Facebook uses Oauth2.0 to safely and securely access this powerful framework on the user's behalf. This app also reflects the current shift to iFrame hosting for developers.
Anna Billstrom is a software developer at Momentus Media, Inc., a services company specializing in making brands viral.
Her experience spans from CRM software consulting, OLAP database management, iOS game development, to 15 years on the web. She blogs and helped found SF WoW in 1998, when she innocently joined the Wednesday evening Perl study group in Lower Haight.
