For 20 years, the Shepherd Express has honored Milwaukee's culture, cuisine and characters with its annual Best of Milwaukee reader's choice awards. Now we've asked Shepherd readers to turn their discerning eye on the city's vibrant online culture. We are very proud to announce the first annual Best of Milwaukee Web awards, where readers will choose their favorite websites, Twitterers, and blogs from the city's digital cornucopia.

The Best of Milwaukee Web awards party will honor the nominees and winners that were selected by readers in 31 categories. This will not be your typical, stuffy awards show, but rather an interactive networking opportunity for those involved in Milwaukee’s online culture.

The party will feature a build-your-own-burger bar provided by Sobelman's, cupcakes by Milwaukee Cupcake Company, drink specials and samples by Lakefront Brewery, games, and giveaways, including a new iPad 2.
