Come to the Family Skateboard Science Weekend where you can watch professional skateboarders demonstrate science in motion at the Exploratorium’s impromptu skatepark. Explore the history and physics behind skateboarding, then join the pros for open skate, beginner skate, and other skateboarding activities.

www.sanfranpsycho.com), learn how to ollie in a special exhibit, or enjoy a collection of Exploratorium exhibits that reveal the physics of skateboarding. Both days culminate in live demos by professional skate teams (FTC on Saturday and Mission Skates on Sunday) while Exploratorium experts Paul Doherty and Steve Gennrich call out the physics.
*Helmets are required, so if you plan to skate, please bring your own. And if you’re under 18, you must have a parent or legal guardian sign a release form. If you are 18+ please bring I.D.
