Join Sun FM and EZ Rock on May 5th, 2011 for the 8th annual “Have a Heart” Radiothon at Cherry Lane Shopping Centre to raise funds for the Pediatric Department at the Penticton Regional Hospital!

97.1 Sun FM, EZ Rock AM 800, EZ Rock AM1240, EZ Rock 98.5 FM is a group of stations committed to South Okanagan Communities. May 5th, 2011, our distinctly different formats will come together to support the South Okanagan Health System – specifically, the pediatric ward at the Penticton Regional Hospital. With growing pressure on health care, our group is committed to helping children in the South Okanagan, ensuring they have access to the best possible health care.

The 8th annual Have a Heart Radiothon is fundraising for these MUCH needed items for the pediatric and maternity wards of OUR Penticton Regional Hospital!

2 INFANT WARMERS - These warmers are used to regulate and maintain a healthy temperature for newborns

A SPICA TABLE - A table that helps when repairing infant and toddler fractures.

PEDIATRIC BRONCHOASCOPY ESOPHAGOSCOPE - This is an instrument used to keep an infant and/or toddler’s airway open for surgery and to diagnose disease.

Also, we’re holding a Have a Heart Radiothon Blind Auction to further our fundraising contribution to the Penticton Regional Hospital. This year there are Themed Packages such as the Get Her Ready For Summer Package, Summer Attractions Package, Golf Package, Wine n Dine Package, Fill Your Cupboards Package, Staycation Package and the Late Easter Chocolate Package. The packages will be set up for you to view and the total value will be posted. You write your name, phone number and your bid on a piece of paper and put it in our auction draw box. At the end of the Radiothon, we will go through each draw box and the people with the highest bid per package win the whole package!

We invite you to be part of the ongoing efforts throughout the year. Your contribution can be anything from a fundraiser through your business, school or club, to employee collections, 100% donations from an event or simply a heartfelt individual donation.
