Once again, we have put together a team of runners to complete The Relay, a 200-mile race that is so awesome that it has both a capital T and a capital R (more info at www.therelay.com).

This being Northern California, America's home of doing good for others, you can probably guess that this is not just about the race itself, but also a chance to raise money for a worthy charity: in this case, Organs 'R' Us, which helps promote awareness of the need for organ donation (and has an awesome name). We're having our annual fundraiser at Northstar Cafe in North Beach and would love for you, your friends, your family members, and even random strangers you may encounter on the street, to join us for an evening of drinks. Make a donation and you get all sorts of drink and shot specials, plus the company of several amazing people.

I wanted to add a few details about the event for you all. I just confirmed with the owner that for $10, you will receive a wrist band. 100% of the wristband earnings will go to charity. With the wristband, you get $3 Draft Beer, and $3 Well Drinks. In addition, they will be creating another "special shot" for us. Each shot costs $3, and 90% of the proceeds from the shot will also go to charity. We will have a table set up by the entrance, so see you there! Invite your friends! And your friends' friends!
