Andrew Lachman has been a long time Jewish community activist running in a district that has had Jewish representation for over 40 years.

He served as the Consultant to the Joint Committee on the Arts for the state legislature working on arts and education issues. Prior to that, he worked for ten years as a technology licensing attorney for start-ups and large companies like Paramount Pictures. Andrew is also an adjunct professor of business law at Woodbury University.

In addition to serving as President of Democrats for Israel, he's served as Vice President of the LA City Quality & Productivity Commission, as a co-founder of the Stonewall Young Democrats and sits on the Sierra Club Political Committee for the Angeles Chapter.
