Plan is to get the 09.38 train from Charing Cross, arriving at Pluckley at 10:49. After 3.5 miles of walking, lunch will be at The Swan in Little Chart, which has a riverside garden and serves good, home-made food from 12pm to 2.30pm. There are nice pubs every couple of miles after that (hurrah!).
