As part of the Global Engagement Summit 2011 we are excited to invite you to "Unfiltered."

Unfiltered - Open Shutter 2011 - challenges its viewers to approach photography and media with a fresh, unbiased lens. Our exhibit showcases 25 photographs taken by Northwestern students across the globe that offer an unfiltered glimpse at everyday life and complicate our view of the world. We invite the viewers of this exhibit to shed their preconceived notions and to experience images and stories through a child's perspective.

This show will also be accompanied by a silent auction of the photographs on display. One GES delegate will be selected to receive the Open Shutter Outcome, in which all the proceeds from the auction will fund his or her project. In addition, we will have a live interactive blog as well as other media pieces that allow viewers to engage with and converse about the photographs. Please join us as we explore the unfiltered!
