The creative minds that brought you the smash “Land of the Sweets: The Burlesque Nutcracker” return to the Triple Door stage with their Spectacle of Ecdysiastic Pageantry, “Through The Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice In Wonderland”. Artistic Director Lily Verlaine & her collaborator Jasper McCann invite you to shrug off the squareness of reality and fall into their swingin’ re-imagination of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale of nonsense and fantasy, and to come along with Alice as she discovers what wonders lie beyond the velvet rope at Wonderland's most exclusive nightclub, The Looking Glass.

Another exploration of numerous artistic influences, this production mixes jazz with classical, Indian and exotic music to set the mood as dancers from around the region mix ballet, tap, and jazz dance into a whirlwind of whimsy and bawdy beauty. The superstars of Seattle’s Burlesque A-List, including Lily Verlaine, Miss Indigo Blue, Kitten La Rue, Waxie Moon, Babette La Fave, Lucky Penny, Ben DeLaCreme, Polly Wood, and Jasper McCann take on the roles of Carroll’s famous characters. Joined by Miss Inga Ingénue and Louise Henry Hoover as Alice and the lovely dance trio Tribella, the ensemble turns Wonderland’s topsy-turvy world into an ecdysiastic tour de force filled with glamour, comedy, dance, striptease, and song. Join them again… in Wonderland!

Through The Looking Glass: The Burlesque Alice In Wonderland runs April 28th at 7:00 p.m. & 10:00 p.m., and April 29th & 30th at 7:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. All 7:00 p.m. shows are 17+, all late shows are 21+. Tickets are $25 presale, $28 day-of-show.
