The Covington Inn Bed & Breakfast is one of America's few floating bed and breakfasts, buoyed and buffered as it is by the Mississippi River.

It's been a tough year for The Covington Inn and it's owner, Liz Miller. Since last spring, The Covington Inn Bed & Breakfast has had to close and cancel existing reservations three times due to flooding, and two times due to frozen pipes.

Overall, this has cost The Covington Inn Bed & Breakfast - and Liz - almost two months of lost business - not to mention, Liz has also been displaced from her home since she lives on the boat.

The March 2011 flood was the worst, costing Liz thousands of dollars JUST to move the boat to Pigs Eye Lake for over 3 weeks - this not counting all of the lost revenue. And, timing couldn't be worse - especially when this small, local business needs income the most after a long and grueling winter.

We hope you will join us to help Liz Miller and the Covington Inn in the time of need. Liz is always so charitable and now it's our turn to give back to her!
