Genentech Hall is at 600 16th St San Francisco, CA . This is basically at the corner of 16th st and 4th st (yes this is a possible intersection). There is a paid parking lot across 4th street (both surface parking and a garage). You can also walk down 4th street from the Caltrain (about a 20 min walk). Genentech Hall is a beige building which has a HUGE staircase that faces the grass quad. The building on the corner is grey (that's QB3). It's the big building just behind QB3.

The Byers auditorium is on the ground floor. When you walk in the building there are two sets of heavy double doors. After you go through these you'll walk through the main entrance into the atrium. The lecture hall is right off that atrium. You can ask the security desk (you'll have to get a "guest sticker") if it's not obvious to you.

The talk will be 3-4p, followed by a couple of nibbles in our lab conference room.
