There will of course be lots and lots of kites for sale, a kite flying training boot camp, and a kite flying competition. In addition to kite flying, there will be vendors for food, clothes, and jewelry. To make the evening lively and fun for the whole family, we have arranged live music and bhangra performances, children's activities, and much more!

The Food:

The food selection this year comprises of fresh offering from latest and greatest South Asian vendors in our community. More details to come.
Its simply a fun-filled family event you don't want to miss out. Come join with your family in the fun and festivities of the Basant event, fly a kite, and celebrate the arrival of the spring. There is no admission fee for the event, but there is a $6 parking fee charged by the park.

Volunteer:

PACC is looking for the members of our community, in particular the youth, to join us as volunteers. Volunteers will get special recognition and lunch coupons by PACC. Time commitment for the entire day will be required. Please indicate your interest by posting on the event wall, and you will be contacted by the PACC team. Space is limited, and will be offered on first come first served basis.
