About The Collection
Taking inspiration from Rosenquist and Warhol, James Georgopoulos has transformed his personal experiences into a series of stupendous works that probe his own relationship with film, and prompt the viewer to examine their own relationships with the entertainment industry, gun culture, representation and simply the objects themselves. Through special arrangement, James presents photographs of actual firearms used in cinema and television, from The Sopranos to Scarface, Dirty Harry to Iron Man, iconic objects handled by stars like Sinatra, McQueen, Denzel Washington, Samuel Jackson and a long list of others.
