- an original tragi-comedy combining Shakespeare with contemporary language (prose and poetry), offering an entertaining and immersive theatrical encounter.
June Bloom has seen better days. She hovers on the edge of forgetfulness, determined to share her love of Shakespeare with anyone who is prepared to listen. In the process she is challenged to remember much more than words.
This play has been in development for the past two years, and will be presented at the newly refurbished Cement Box, St Lucia, with Flloyd Kennedy, John Graham, and Anna Yen, directed by Ira Seidenstein, with original soundscape by John Rodgers and lighting design by Jason Glenwright.
You are invited to participate in our fund-raising spectacular in one of the following ways:
1) Sponsor Flloyd to stay away from hairdressers till 12th June - in other words, she has to let her hair grow, and NOT change its colour (currently white, grey roots coming through). Go to
www.thundersmouththeatre.com to see how you can contribute to this fund.
2) Buy jewellery handmade by Flloyd direct from the website
www.handmadebyflloyd.com. All proceeds go towards production costs.
3) Join in The Big Sing - an all day event planned for early in the new year. For a nominal fee, you are invited to join in a giant vocal warm-up, culminating in a stupendous improvised choral symphony.
