Over the past year, more and more companies in the world of social media have begun to differentiate themselves by shifting their messaging to talk of serving social business, but is there really much of a difference? Is it a revolutionary new approach or is it merely the evolution of the industry? With companies such as IBM, Radian6, Jive and SMC Small Business Member Dachis Group not only embracing the term, but promoting it far and wide, there is clearly something afoot, but what exactly is it?
Come join industry leaders, soon to be author of a Social Business book Michael Brito of Edelman and SNCR Founder Jen McClure who is a Social Strategist with Thomson Reuters as we explore these questions and much more. Moderated by SMC Founder/Chairman and Social Business Specialist Leader with Deloitte Consulting Chris Heuer, Social Media Club San Francisco is producing a unique panel conversation unlike any other on this important topic.
As a few leaders in the industry pivot to embrace new language, now is the time to discuss how it may impact Social Media Professionals and the broader industry. Chris Heuer wrote a blog post recently on this topic to put forward one potential view, but is it right? Now is the first chance to come together and discuss this as a community. Please join us and come prepared to participate.
