Our next event will be on Monday 16th May and will be an exploration of the world of M2M and the internet of things. This is still work in progress at the time of writing, but be sure that we'll take a look at the vision of what's coming, discuss the practicalities of how this is going to be implemented, what this means for consumers and what the opportunities are for developers and entrepreneurs, including new business models. It's a big topic so we'll be honing it but we hope this will have interest for those who are expert in this area and also to those for whom it's new.
We will also have some demos set up in the networking area. If you're doing something interesting in M2M and would like a demo pod, please speak to Jo about that - jo@mobilemonday.org.uk
Camille Mendler of Informa has kindly agreed to chair/moderate the evening, and will be joined by David Wood, Technology Strategy Lead for Embedded Devices at Accenture, Tor Bjorn Minde, R&D Manager from EricssonLabs, William Webb, CTO from Neul and Dan Warren, Director of Technology at GSMA.
