About Dear World:
While everyone else is sleeping, Robert X. Fogarty isn't the only one scribbling, blurry eyed iterations of a beautiful, wonderful world.
Over the past year, Fogarty, founder of Dear World and Dear New Orleans, has photographed written messages on people's bodies in his accessible portrait style. From a 6th grader who dreams of attending the the Art Institute of Pittsburgh (I'm Going to College) to Superbowl winning quarterback Drew Brees (1...2, Win for You), Fogarty captures the messages that make people live and laugh, love and play.
His photos are seen over 1.5 millions times per month.
About 100k Cheeks;
100K Cheeks is a Stanford-based advocacy group dedicated to increasing the number of people enrolled in the international bone marrow registry. Within this overarching mission, a central goal of the organization is to specifically address the severe shortage of South Asian donors in the registry. The match rate within the South Asian demographic is critically low – a meager 1 in 20,000 chance for a potential recipient to find a match. In the face of this heart-rending problem, we cannot stand idle as South Asians lives are lost to cancer and other debilitating diseases.
