It's Karl's Birthday!!!!!!!
Woof, woof!
The wind says the full moon is coming! This Tuesday, May 17th. The wind also said that same night is his birthday!
This will be the Full Flower Moon, at 7:09 am – In most areas, flowers are abundant everywhere during this time. Other names include the Full Corn Planting Moon, or the Milk Moon. The sun will set at 7:30 pm, after a 71 degree day it will get down to 56, per the latest forecast, with the moonrise at 9:12 pm.
To shake things up a bit, imagine that!, and to celebrate the new parts of Piedmont Park, we are going to congregate in a different area this special night. We are going to go the oval between the parking garage and new Legacy Fountain. The easiest place to park is the botanical gardens parking garage, but it is pricey. Otherwise, park by our house in Ansley. If you park in the first block in from Piedmont you may get a ticket. You walk down stairs from the botanical Garden (Prado) road between the toll booth and entrance building.
We will still gather at about 7 pm. Bring a chair and/or a blanket, something to drink, something to eat, a friend, and something to share. Come enjoy being outside in our beautiful park with special people, and the time to enjoy both.
I am sure we will have some cake, and some other treats, of currently unknown kinds…
Please forward this to others so that they know to come to a different place this month.
Love and hugs,
The wind, and Sherri, Leefa, Drew and Karl
Here is a map of the expansion. we will be in the "greensward".
