“MIRACULOUS, SEDUCTIVE, DELIRIOUS, DIZZYINGLY, EXHAUSTINGLY, CATCH YOUR BREATH FUNNY!
Unlike most comedians Izzard attacks neither the audience or himself, instead he creates the illusion that he’s letting you eavesdrop on an infinite internal dialogue.”
The NY Times
“WHAT MAKES HIM UNIQUE? HE’S A COMIC GENIUS!
He’s irreverent, dirty, nonconformist, wicked and he’s fantastically, riotously funny!”
NY Post
“BEDAZZLYING, UNDENIABLY WONDERFUL & REMARKABLE! He’s charming and goofy, eliciting howls of laughter (from the audience while just standing there.”
LA Times

Since Izzard made his first stage appearance on London's West End in 1993 with his one-man comedy show Eddie Izzard: Live at the Ambassadors – which earned him a Laurence Olivier Award nomination for outstanding achievement and his first British Comedy Award for top stand-up comedian – there have been a succession of sell-out and critically-acclaimed international tours including Unrepeatable (1994), Definite Article (1996) and Glorious (1997). In 1998 Izzard toured his breakthrough show Dress to Kill which aired on HBO and went on to earn him two Emmy Awards. 2000 was the year of Circle. SEXIE followed in 2003 selling out 18 cities across the U.S. Within one week of tickets going on sale, Izzard sold out six shows at L.A.’s Wiltern Theater. Eddie’s stand up show STRIPPED completed a 34 city tour of the US in 2008 before breaking box office records with a UK, US and European Arena tour which culminated in Madison Square Garden Arena in New York, Jan 2010, making Eddie only the fourth comedian ever to play that venue. The same year Eddie performed a series of South African dates in support of Nelson Mandela’s 46664 Charity and debuted Stripped across Canada.
Well renowned as a comic, Eddie is equally respected as a film, theater and TV actor. His hugely successful FX series, The Riches has been critically acclaimed across the world. Eddie also has recurring role on the third season of Showtime's dark comedy 'United States of Tara.' His big screen debut was alongside Bob Hoskins and Robin Williams in the 1996 movie ‘SECRET AGENT’. Izzard’s most current film, the Emmy nominated Believe – The Eddie Izzard Story, features Eddie keeping company with heavyweights George Clooney and Robin Williams. This behind-the-scenes exposé tracks Izzard’s stressful comeback tour and uncovers his best-loved material along the way.
“Izzard is much more than a stand-up comedian, his world is bursting with energy, sound, style, attitude and atmosphere. His performance is as thrilling as a roller coaster ride where you never know when the next death-defying turn to a new hilarious and deliriously funny new topic is going to come. IZZARD ROCKS!”
