Regional gatherings to share and inspire
In 2011 the international team, consisting of the cleanup initiators from different countries, is organizing 18 regional gatherings all over the world. The aim is to come together, share knowhow and experience from previous cleanups, and help new teams to kick-start their cleanups for 2012.
The educational conference is organized with the aim to support the efforts of the global Cleanup action team.
The global team will introduce the new garbage map as a tool and 11 steps method for preparing for the cleanup.
Rainer Nõlvak and Irmelin Hiie from LDIW global team together with Adriel Hampton from San Francisco Cleanup team will talk about the Cleanup’s done so far.

Conference supported by Estonian Embassy in Washington, Rezidor Hotel Group.
The organizers are welcoming especially participants from East coast, but of course all the other states are very welcome as well. The conference is free for all the participants and all participants will receive tools for starting the clean-up process in their states.
