Under the theme “Los Estados Unidos and the emerging Hispanic political clout” – a remarkable panel of Latino bloggers, activists, and government relations officials [including executives from the McDonalds Corporation and NALEO] will address the topics of citizenship and the implications of 2010 Census results on the Latino vote: how can we translate our growing numbers into increased political clout as we gear up to 2012?
The event will also be a great opportunity for area members to introduce their cause, business, blog, website, service to the group during our popular 30 second commercial sessions. LATISM will also continue to collect donations for the LATISM Sustainable Development Project on the border of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.
