Journey with TCLP founder Leah Green, CL facilitator Yael Petretti, and an intimate group of participants for an unforgettable immersion into the heart of peacemaking.
We begin in the ancient, Old City of Jerusalem (at a Christian Guest House in the Muslim Quarter!) with Compassionate Listening training, and then practice each day in the field with Israelis and Palestinians from all walks of life, as well as with one another. Learn to listen and speak from the heart - peacemaking skills that will serve you in all aspects of your life: in your family, community, workplace, and beyond.
Each delegation is unique. Our time is divided between Compassionate Listening training, listening sessions with Israelis and Palestinians, group reflection, and touring. Listening sessions take place in homes, offices, villages, refugee camps, and settlements. Participants enjoy touring well-known and off-the-beaten track ancient sites with Yael, who is a professional Israeli tour guide.
Leah and Yael bring a wealth of experience to this work. They are deeply committed to Compassionate Listening as a process for humanizing the other in any context, as well as a crucial practice for systemic healing and transformation. No prior experience with the Compassionate Listening Project is necessary.
