Dave Sheridan will be utilizing his experience and techniques to help actors create multi-dimensional characters with organic thoughts, emotions and mannerisms. Actors will learn how to expand on their characters using psychological and physical aspects. Using these techniques will help turn a one-dimensional character into a fully developed three-dimensional character, then apply the newly formed characters into improvisation scenes, while working seamlessly within given parameters of their creations.

Dave Sheridan is President of Jamie Kennedy Entertainment. He has worked in the Theatre, Film and Television industry for over twenty years. In that time he has written, created, produced and starred in a dozen films that grossed over half a billion dollars in worldwide box-office sales. Sheridan is most notable of his movie roles: DOOFEY in ‘Scary Movie,’ MARK in Bubble Boy, DOUG in ‘Ghost World,’ RAY DOBBS in ‘The Devil’s Rejects’, TRAVIS BICKLE in ‘Windy City Heat’ and the Disney film FRANK MCKLUSKEY. He next appears this summer’s Paramount release ‘Horrible Bosses’. He starred as DOVE on the critically acclaimed, unscripted series ‘Free Ride,’ on FOX TV and has had recurring roles on ‘Grounded for Life’ and ‘Scare Tactics.’ Dave has also gained a cult following for playing The Fanatic stalker in many of the Red Hot Chili Peppers music videos. He has worked with such artists and talent as Rob Zombie, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anna Faris, Cuba Gooding Jr., Steve Buscemi, Johnny Knoxville, Dane Cook, Jimmy Kimmel, Marlon Wayans, Christina Ricci, Tracy Morgan, Seth Green and Beyonce Knowles. Dave is also a creator and a producer, having worked on several TV shows for network and cable television, including ‘Buzzkill’ and the WB’s ‘Superstar USA.’

Sheridan began his career as a writer’s assistant at Saturday Night Live. From there, he entered Chicago’s famed comedy Mecca, The Second City, where he wrote, directed, and produced several live stage revues, including the award winning ‘Dave Sheridan’s America,’ a multimedia stage show.
