After you enjoy the Maplewood Olympics today and Tuesday…
and before you revel in the awards assemblies on Thursday and Friday…
the Maplewood Salad Bowl Project will proudly present its Spring Harvest Lunch on Wednesday, May 25th during all lunch periods. As our students have grown a feast of healthy vegetables throughout the many gardens around the school, it is time to enjoy the harvest. All Maplewood students have now completed their salad bowls in art class, and they will be eager to share stories of their art creations as they share stories of their harvest.
As in previous years, volunteer parents will prep and serve a salad with homemade dressings, a pasta, and other dishes served in a buffet line in the cafeteria but outside the traditional food service line.
Parents and extended family are welcome to share the harvest lunch with the students. The portions will be tasting-size, so you may also wish to bring or buy a lunch that day as well.
As for volunteers, please consider volunteering as a food server for any shift from 10:15AM to 1:15PM on Wednesday, May 25th, please contact Dusty Harshman to volunteer.
