✿ Anime North?
This is a non-profit anime convention that was first held in 1997, with about 600 attendees. During the last convention, attendees reached over 9000 (16,000+ I mean). Over the years, Anime North (AN) has greatly expanded with great events each year such as the masquerade, dances, panels, concerts, and so on. Many people come each year as a mean of meeting new people with the same interest in anime and Japanese culture.

✿ What's there to do?
MANY THINGS! Cosplay is a popular, but not the only way, many attendees choose to enjoy Anime North. There is the dealer's room where you can purchase goods, play games, watch anime showings, and enjoy talented art over at the artist alley. Other events include the Masquerade, J-pop dance, and concerts. You can check out this link to get an idea what kind of events go on.

✿ Pre-registration/Possible member cap
- total of 15,000 Weekend/Group admissions and 5,000 of each of the single-day only admissions will be sold for 2012
- Pre-registration is open untill March 16 2012
- Adult Weekend Admission: $45 CND
- Group Admission : $40CND per member (groups consist of minimum 10 ppl)

✿ Pricing
Weekend admission $55 CND
Single day admission: Friday ($35), Saturday ($40), Sunday ($35)
Children <5 (free, if accompanied by an adult)
Children 6-13 (admission is half off of whichever day you choose to go on, must be accompanied by adult)
