Kate & Shannon, along with neighbors, local merchants, and beloved customers have conspired to bring more green space to the TL/ Lower Nob Hill/AKA the Tender Nob. With approval to develop a parklet in front of the café – our next goal is to raise money to build it out and fund the year-round maintenance.

As the official "caretakers" of the new public space, Kate and Shannon are proud to see their vision of providing a gathering place for friends and neighbors come true. Intent to reclaim public space usually occupied by cars – the parklet will soon be a destination for anyone in the neighborhood who wants to socialize, visit, or just park their bicycles and have a stroll.
