The sellout homebrewer festival from 2009, BeerCamp, is rolling again, this time during Philly Beer Week 2011!
We've recruited some of Philly's finest homebrewers and asked them to share some of their recipes with the best beer-drinking community in the country. 10 teams have produced nearly 100 gallons of over 20 different flavors and styles of beer, including:
- Transcontinental - California Common
- Bee Sting Ale
- Chocrilla
- Ryeghteous Brown Ale
- Mmmm Creamy Milk Stout
- Wobbly Bass Brown
- and a delicious selection of other ales, porters, stouts, ambers, and more.
2009's venue was packed to the gills, so we've expanded this year to the outdoor patio space at the Jamaican Jerk Hut at Broad and South Street. And of course, a spread of food to enjoy while tasting the homebrews will be catered by the Jerk Hut!
We'll also have cash and prizes for top-voted beers, both as crowd favorites and as judge favorites.
$35 includes entrance, beer, food, and a takeaway BeerCamp pint glass with a 4oz tasting line printed right on the side.
