University of Texas professor Robert Jensen has long struggled with a hidden addiction: He can't stop buying books. After more than two decades in academic life, Jensen's bookshelves are groaning under the weight of countless volumes, and it's time for a sale. Jensen's eclectic collection includes titles in media studies, politics, law, history, philosophy, religion, feminism, and critical race studies. Join us on Saturday, June 11th to help professor Jensen lighten his load.
At 2 p.m., Jensen will talk about the books that have most influenced his own politics and discuss the importance of radical thought.
All proceeds will go to support the work of MonkeyWrench Books, your favorite all-volunteer, radical bookstore collective.
