Amigos,
Pizza for Peace is Back!
On September 4th of this year a group of friends and I will be riding our bikes along the Coastal Highway from Oregon to San Francisco. The goal of this 7-day, 527 mile journey is to raise money and awareness for the International Development Exchange (www.idex.org) and the communities that they support in Asia, Africa and Latin America. The ride is going to take us through some of the most beautiful parts of California. From the Klamath National Forest to the Pacific coast to the Russian River--it’s going to be a wild adventure. My goal is to raise $2,500 to promote environmental sustainability, women’s empowerment, and economic development in places such as Mexico, Guatemala, South Africa, Zimbabwe, India and Nepal.
I need your help!
Please come out and enjoy some amazing home cooked pizzas on Wednesday, June 22nd at Maddie’s and my place in North Beach. I’m asking for a suggested donation of $30 each. This will include some of the most amazing home cooked pizzas like my famous thin crust prosciutto, mushroom, grilled onion, trois fromages pie, and of course...all you can drink sangria!
Peace, Pizza, and Pedal...One Love!
Aaron
If you cannot make it out but would like to donate to the International Development Exchange and support the IDEX Ride you can make a donation below on my First Giving Page. Also, please stay tuned for the next pizza parties in July and August.

IDEX promotes lasting solutions to poverty by providing long-term grants to locally run organizations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America. What separates it from other non-profits is its focus on in-country grassroots organizations, so that, with grant and loan money from IDEX, local people are able to pull themselves up. Thus far, IDEX has made grants directly to over 20 locally run organizations in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.
