The AIDS Candlelight Vigil is a community memorial event held annually to honour, remember and celebrate the lives of people who have died of AIDS, and to recognize and honour those affected by and living with HIV/AIDS.
In 2011 the Vigil will reflect the theme of Families – chosen families, biological families, all families living with HIV/AIDS. Throughout the program, the diverse family relationships of the people hosting and performing will be honored. The 2011 Vigil will be hosted by Doe O'Brien Teengs and Rick Lees.
NOTE: The Vigil date has remained the same, notwithstanding Pride Toronto's decision to move the dates of Pride.
