IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR ALL BOOGALOO MOUNTAIN JAM ATTENDEES:
CAMPING PASSES FOR THIS EVENT ARE SOLD OUT! You can no longer buy camping passes at the door. We just added a limited number of day passes which are available for $20 at the door. These are for NON CAMPERS ONLY.
>> DIRECTIONS TO THE EVENT POSTED AT THE END OF THIS MESSAGE <<
If you are attending the Jam or are even considering, you will need to know this info...
GATES will open promptly at 3pm on Friday afternoon. early-arrivals will not be granted entrance until that point. the Jamgrounds will close at 5pm on Sunday evening, we ask that all attendees be respectful of that fact and be prepared to exodus once the event has ended. campers will not be permitted to stay beyond Sunday evening as the Jam is being held on private property and not public camping grounds.
we do plan on the event selling out before gates open, so please save yourself from disappointment and PURCHASE PRESALE TICKETS here:
http://boogaloomountainjam/ .eventbrite.com/ . ticket presales close THURSDAY AT MIDNIGHT. If the event has sold out, we will not have extra space for parking and camping. event capacity is not an arbitrary choice, it is literally the space we have to work with. the only guarantee for entry is with a presale ticket. If you are reading this, you are a friend, and we don't want you to be turned away! In the unlikely event we don't sell-out before gates open, tickets will be $50 at the door, but will most-likely not last long.
we highly recommend CARPOOLING to the greatest degree possible. onsite parking is $10 and is capacity-limited. gas is pricey and car-camping is only allowed with a car-camping pass (sold out). help yourself, your fellow campers, the event, and the environment by sharing rides.
CAMPING spaces are first-come-first-staked. we ask that all attendees be mindful of their fellow campers and camp tight and cozy. please only take as much space as you need. this event will reach capacity and camping space is limited to that specific capacity. everyone deserves a place to rest, so respect your neighbors and be thrifty with your landgrabs. open fires are not permitted in the camping area, but camp-stoves and bar-b-ques are acceptable.
this is a PACK-IT-IN PACK-IT-OUT/LEAVE NO TRACE event. please refrain from any littering (including cigarette buts) and make plans to take home any trash generated by you and your campmates. the Jamgrounds are beautiful and on generous loan for our festivities, let us leave them the way we found them so that we may return for future adventures! also, please do not dispose of any wastes other than bodily ones in the provided porta-potties.
DOGS and other pets are not permitted at this event.
there is NO public-access WATER available on the Jamgrounds for camping, so bring enough water for your stay on the mountain. individual water bottles will be available for sale at the Dirty Beetle Bar.
FOOD vending will be available from LA Hottie Dogs during lunch and dinner, with both veggie and carnie options.
outside food and drink is permitted and encouraged. BEVERAGES will also be available for purchase at the Dirty Beetle Bar.
FIRE spinning and other performances are welcomed at the event if executed with observation of proper safety precautions and respect.
