Fandor presents an exclusive FREE screening of seminal film classic David Holzman's Diary at the Victoria Theatre in San Francisco followed by a Q&A with director Jim McBride. This special screening is being held in conjunction with Fandor and MoMA New York's coordinated theatrical and digital release of this hard to find film - a first of its kind event for the film industry. Don't miss the remastered release of this insightful and at times hilarious pseudo documentary directed by Jim McBride, a preamble to the YouTube era decades ahead of its time. The New York Times called this must-see film a "delightful satire" and Lena Dunham (Tiny Furniture) has said it's possibly "every filmmaker’s best-kept secret influence." This exclusive, invite-only event is limited to 400 seats and is first-come first-served. RSVP is required and attendees must bring their ticket to be admitted. Doors open at 6:15pm and the screening begins promptly at 7:00pm. Wine, beer and light refreshments will be served.
