Hello Tigers!

We are really excited to kick off our already-fabulous group with our first official event.

How do we know our group is already fabulous, you might ask? Well, first, we're all Tigers! Secondly, we chose to do something interesting with our lives. Alright, no elitism here -- many people are doing things that are interesting to someone, Tiger media group members or not! However, if you've signed up for this group, you are engaged in a media pursuit of some kind, or you are dimly aware of the calling of your muses to get involved in media. In either case, you will find like-minded fellow Tigers here.

Plus, I've had the pleasure of trading at least one email with each of you, and I can say this -- every single person, bar none, has been warm, generous, and enthusiastic in their emails. That's something that doesn't require a Princeton degree and doesn't necessarily come with that degree. So, come meet a happening bunch of fellow media professionals for a glass of wine, some sangria, cool cocktails, or other drink to cool summer thirst, while sharing ideas or dreaming up big media projects that will change the world, making new friends, and having fun.

With the help of Rachel Schnipper '03 (and generous encouragement from the rest of you), we finally have a cool location suitable for our first meeting. Billed by Urban Daddy as "an original, posh, 1850's upscale cocktail cellar," The Vault at Pfaff's is described to have hosted Walt Whitman in its day. Whether the Walt Whitman part is true or not, the idea seemed fitting for our first gathering. Rachel has arranged for some drink specials for our group. More info. on the location at the link below -- although I hear the picture doesn't quite do it justice. It's apparently quite a cozy spot, perfect for making new friends and plotting new fun:
