With humor and pathos, STANLEY’S WORLD written by Alexandra Klausner and directed by McKenna Dabbs, is a one-act play that explores death and its affect on a little boy and his mother. Stanley’s world is turned upside down when father dies. He believes he is a visitor from another planet made entirely of Jelly Beans. Stanley’s new alien identity confronts a number of characters in New York City, some of whom could be from another planet themselves.

As Stanley says in the play, "Planet Tenaj is violet, crystalline… translucent. The sky is soft, yet crisp and pure…like a mouthful of crushed ice from the refrigerator." SO BE COOL AND CHECK IT OUT!

Stanely's World is made possible by the Stephanie Mnookin Creative Project grant from Skidmore College and Phil Soltanoff. The performance on the 15th will be collecting optional donations for The Foundation for Women's Cancer.
