I'm 30 on the 19th. The frivolous spontaneity of my 20's will make way for the inevitably more responsible 30's. I think. Come to Republic a few days later, once the dust has cleared, to help me test that theory. And hang out.
Hanging out will be fun. You'll meet all kinds of great people, people that have something in common with you, or at least a mutual friend on Facebook. You'll eat, you'll drink, you'll be merry.
Location: Republic
For those that haven't been to Republic yet, it's got lots of warm, inviting, open space, a huge patio (if weather's good), great food and 32 mouth-watering craft and Belgian beers on tap. And every beer is at least $1-4 less than you'd see elsewhere and the food is reasonable as well. If $4-6 craft beers aren't your thing, they've got Hamms in a can for $2. And did I mention the awesome food? So come check it out.

Transit/Parking:
There isn't much street parking so I usually recommend parking in the spaces behind the Corner Bar across the street - it's only $3 to park there all night. Beware the convenient-looking "Holiday Inn" ramp, unless you can afford to spend $10-15 for parking. There's also a Nice Ride station very close by and plenty of bike parking as well. The Cedar Hiawatha LRT isn't too far away. The 7 and 22 bus have stops right in front, too.
So that's it! Come hang out, share stories and meet lots of people that you might already know somehow. It'll be fun.
