PLEASE READ CAREFULLY...While mowing the grass yesterday I had a lot of time to think. I thought about how I've been blessed during my lifetime, and how I've seen family and friends blessed along the way as well. I thought about how good it feels to be able to bless others, and how in the process of blessing others, you find yourself being blessed at the same time.
Looking at how things are in the world today, I thought wouldn't it be nice if there was one day set aside where a multitude of people came together in one accord with one mission in mind. That mission: To bless others. So I thought about calling for a "National Day of Blessings."
It is simple. On July 5, 2011 I am encouraging people to make a point to be a blessing to others. There's no specific way to bless someone on this day, just be on the look out for someone who needs a blessing, and give it to them. You'll know what to do.
Then, on July 6, 2011 return to this Event Page and make a post telling us how you were blessed. We'll not tell everyone how we've blessed others (that's between you, God, and the person you've blessed), but it will be great to hear about how you've been blessed.
You may notice that July 5th is my birthday, and what better gift than to know that people are being a blessing and and being blessed!
Thanks for your time and I sure hope you welcome this invitation to take part in this event. Please forward the invitation on to your friends as well, before you know it, we can get this message across the nation in no time! Thanks again and God bless!
