Local Los Angeles residents bought tickets for both weekends just to have options, but out of town guests (Honolulu) bought tickets for the first weekend (April 13-15). The type of ticket you are looking for is the "General Admission Festival Pass Only". I suggest using the payment plan (10% down, then residual divided into the months left till April) to pay for the ticket because the cost doesn't change and you aren't committed to pay $310 upfront.

I understand that the festival is in April 2012, but if you buy your tickets with the payment plan you aren't committed a large lump sum today and if you decide later after you pay off your ticket you can't go it definitely won't be a problem finding someone to buy your ticket. The festival this year sold out in a week.

Today's Action: Buy your ticket now with the low monthly payment plan and give a soft commitment to be part of something bigger than yourself that you'll remember for the rest of your life.

Please Only select Attend if you've purchased a ticket for this event that way we know whose going. If you have purchased a ticket, write on the wall which weekend you've purchased.

The future purpose of this event page is to organize potential housing, see who wants to watch certain artist once the line-ups are released (be real, we are not all following each other around). I may want to watch a small cover band from Denmark and using this page I can see who else may be interested.

There will definitely be enough people attending Coachella for everyone to see who they want without being left out of a group.
