After the success of first event with Scott Ferguson, Dubbyman and Ernie. Northern Purpose are proud to present Detroit's very own Mr Rick Wade for a UK exclusive 3 hr set on Sat August 13th at The Camp Basement from 10pm til very late.

Rick Wade's moody beats have been haunting us ever since first hearing his releases on Harmonie Park back in '94 remember "Late Night Basix Vol. 1" his velvet touch is unmistakable. You can always tell a Rick Wade composition instantly. His productions and remixes span nearly 2 decades on labels such as Trackmode, Moods and Grooves, ATC, M3, Elevate, Chord 44/Container, Out Of The Box, Music Is..., Laid, Yore and Rush Hour to name a few.

Rick is an amazing DJ and has been playing for years, honed his craft in Michigan, spinning even bass music for a long time. He definitely knows how to rock a party as so many do from Detroit, but he is in a class of his own and a big favorite at Northern Purpose. Backing up Rick Wade will be NP's very own Brendan and Carl H showcasing some vinyl gems from the past and present.
