TED Global is TED’s world conference where speakers and performers gather from all over the world in Edinburgh, Scotland to deliver unexpected connections, extraordinary insights, and powerful inspiration. This year’s theme will be "How can life be better lived". Featured speakers and performers will include:

* Pamela Meyer, Lie Detector – shows us how to take back the truth

* Ben Goldacre, Debunker – tears down bad science
