Ms fest 2012, 3 march 2012 at TCA Ground Hobart. I will put up the line ups as soon as I know who they are for sure. This event is held to fundraise for the Ms society of Tasmania.
Invite all your friends to this event. It's going to be a great day.
Multiple Sclerosis is a condition that affects the central nervous system. Tasmania has the highest incidence of MS in Australia, the average age of diagnosis is 29 and 3 out of 4 people diagnosed are woman.
Description Now heading into its seventh year, Tasmania’s largest one-day music event MSFest continues to grow stronger each year. The annual event created to raise awareness of Multiple Sclerosis amongst young people, as well as raising much needed funds, has gone from strength to strength, as the state’s largest single day ticketed event by gross sales and most popular event in Tasmania for people aged 14-2...5 years old. MSFest has cemented its place as the most significant local event on the Summer calendar, and plans for 2012 are no exception.
Next year, MSFest will take a new turn. With well-known Tasmanian event manager Charles Touber on board to support the MS Society, fans can expect another huge line up of great music as well as more interactive entertainment and new integration with Tasmanian schools through music, arts, short films, and media programs and competitions resulting in MSFest taking a year round profile culminating in the Festival on March 3, where the people can view many of the products of the schools’ programs.
All your favourite elements will be there again - the Main Stage, the rides, the roller disco, food, VIP area, an expanded dance stage and a hyped-up atmosphere of fun for a good cause. Once again there will be the opportunity to fundraise your way to MSFest and win the chance to arrive in front of the huge crowd in a helicopter. Touber proposes that in the next three year phase he will look to incorporating an international headlining act, but the timing of the festival will not change.
Held at Inveresk Park in Launceston and, with a sell-out crowd this year, organisers are expecting another massive event in 2012.
MSFest - 10 am – 11pm, Saturday the 3 March 2012.
The line up will be released later this year as well as further details on how schools can get involved.
