 To celebrate being here and to mark the occasion.\n

 It is one day to celebrate deepening spiritual insight and
 expanding cosmic consciousness.\n
 One day set aside for the recognition of emerging planetary
 culture in all it&#039\;s splendor and diversity.\n
 One day to mark the inner transformations in each individual who
 has assented to personal progression.\n

 One day for the human family to celebrate life\, existence and
 universe citizenship. \n

 This shall be under no one organisational banner\, is associated
 with no one human institution or philosophy\, springs from no one
 culture\, no one tradition and no one individual.\n

 It is Universal Day. \n
 \n
 Each individual and community shall mark this day as they deem
 fit. \n

 The purpose is to invite a collective awakening and to mark the
 particular stage of evolution that humanity has now reached\; in
 celebration of the past\, anticipation of the future and in
 recognition of the beauty of this unique present moment. As such
 it need not be a large scale\, mass-media event in order to
 fulfil the purpose\, although it may be\, that&#039\;s up to
 you.\n

 We invite each individual to participate fully in this day and to
 create your own experience for yourself and for your community.\n
 We invite every group\, organisation and community to participate
 fully in this day and to determine your own experience for your
 city\, region or nation.\n
 We invite all nations to participate fully in this event and to

 traditions\, as custodians of the family jewels of humanity to

 the spiritual economy of the world. For many it shall be a day of
 healing\, forgiveness\, reconciliation\, peace\, grace\, laughter

 theatre\, dance and all manner of creative expression.\n
