The Location Based Marketing Association is pleased to be hosting our next event in Toronto on the evening of July 26th called the Retailer's Dilemma,
The focus will be on understanding the challenges retailers face in categorizing and selecting the right location-based marketing tools for your stores. Should I use bluetooth or wifi? What about integration with digital signage and point of sale? How do i fit QR codes into the mix? What is the right mix of these solutions for driving footfall vs. increasing dwell time?
Questions, we will discuss include:
1. Why Facebook Deals vs. Foursquare or other platforms?
2. What were the key criteria for determining success?
3. What did you learn from the experience you would change the next time?
4. How do you see the role of other media (non-mobile) such as billboard, print, etc in promoting location-based deals?
The event will be moderated by our own retail expert - Doug Stephens of Retail Prophet consulting and includes an all retail panel with leaders from Sears, Chapters/Indigo and more.
