Hey everyone! I turn the ripe old age of 32 this month. And in my old age, some have started to poke fun of my (questionable) taste in beverages. So, yes, I admit it. I think Coors Light is one of the finest beverages out there. Since my first sip at age 13, the Silver Bullet has brought me nothing but joy.

But brace yourself. Because on July 29th at 8pm, I'm showing off my more sophistimicated side. We're doing a wine tasting at 1355 Hayes*. And not just any wine tasting, but full-on Wine Tasting Challenge.
Here's how it'll work:
If you love wine and/or have at least one winery membership, please bring a bottle that costs more than $32. If you can't tell your Cakebread from your Charles Shaw, please bring your favorite bottle worth less than $13. Please also bring your own wine glass. When you arrive, we'll hide the label and price of your bottle, categorize the type of wine, and mark it with a code.
You'll then receive a score card. Your task throughout the night is to rate each wine as either more than $32 or less than $13. At the end of the night, we'll compile scores.
Awards and Prizes:
The Master Sommilier Award:
To the person who most accurately sorts the wines into their correct buckets: a bottle of Dom Perignon.
The Poser Award:
To the person from the over $32 club who sucks the most'est: a bottle of Two Buck Chuck (2011 Vintage).
The Humility Award:
To the worst wine rater from the under $13 club: a six-pack of Coors Light. (it's what you wanted anyway)
Should be a good time! Friends welcomed. Pretentious snacks served. Looking forward to seeing you!
Best,
Jason
* But, wait, don't all of Jason's parties include Flippy cup, pong, and dance parties at some point? Yes, that'll happen as well...
