Link TV recently launched Link News (

http://news.linktv.org</a> ), an international news website that sifts through YouTube’s library of news content to deliver breaking news and hidden stories to a wider audience. The beta site uses powerful new tools, like YouTube’s API, to link visitors to videos and articles from a variety of news sources around the world.
Funded by the Knight Foundation, Link TV also conducted research for the site with 16- to 25-year-olds around their news media habits. A white paper of findings will be released at the event.
YouTube and their developer partners will also demo other new web applications built using their API. The presentations will start with YouTube API overview, followed by the demos of:
