Ving Tsun is a style of Kung Fu that originated from China and was later refined in Hong Kong. Ving Tsun's specialty is close contact combat, using quick punches and kicks with a tight defense, coordinated through agile stances and footwork for a quick advance.

The effectiveness of Ving Tsun is achieved by well coordinated attacks with simultaneous defense and vise versa. Due to its effectiveness this martial art makes for an effective form of self defense.

Our Sifu, Victor Chung studied directly under Ving Tsun Grandmasters Moy Bah Hugh Pete Pajil of Philadelphia and the venerable Grandmaster Moy Yat in New York City before he passed in 2001. Late Grandmaster Moy Yat was one of Legendary Grandmaster Ip Man's (Yip Man) desciples.

Victor Chung (or Moy Yook) has been a direct “Bai-Si” disciple of Grandmaster Moy Yat for more than 20 years and has taught thousands of students in Philadelphia before moving to San Francisco in 2000.
