So many families need these subsidies\, like pell grants\, to make education more affordable.\n \n -To LOWER TAXES ON THE WEALTHY while increasing the burden on middle-class working families. The wealthy are claimed to be the job creators thus justifying the need for more tax cuts. But\, the wealthy corporations are taking in record profits that dwarf previous records entirely. How many more tax breaks\, resulting in more record profits\, will corporations need to hire more workers?\n \n -To REPEAL THE EPA. This agency is responsible for making sure our air is breathable and our water is drinkable. I have been to other countries where regulations on the environment are weak and it is not pleasant. Black soot all over your skin and up your nose just for walking through the filthy air and breathing it in.\n \n -To DISMANTLE MEDICARE and replace it with a voucher program that could leave many sick elderly and handicapped individuals without the maximum care they need and force those individuals to foot the bill.\n \n -To KEEP OIL SUBSIDIES in place regardless of the Billions in profits the oil companies continue to make.\n \n -To NOT RAISE THE DEBT CEILING... which is like saying we will not pay pay back the money we had already spent. This could throw the United States back into a recession and/or possibly a depression. Their politics are holding all Americans hostage!\n \n -To ABOLISH ALL ORGANIZED LABOR. Organized labor gave Americans a greater standard of living through several decades. Organized labor has been systematically irradiated while the standard of living has diminished through out the past 30 years.\n \n -To ALLOW CHILD LABOR. Many Tea Party Members have said that it is unconstitutional to set limits on how old you have to be to work. Sweatshops in America is not my idea of moving the country in the right direction.\n \n -To REFUSE AID FOR STATES SUFFERING FROM WEATHER CATASTROPHES. I guess\, it'\;s survival of the fittest!\n \n -To DIMINISH CIVIL RIGHTS by repealing anti-segregation legislation and fighting against LGBT rights.
