Many of you have heard about a Houston family's tragedy that orphaned and injured three children over July 4th weekend. For those of you who haven't...
Robin and Joshua Berry were killed in a head-on collision when a car veered into their lane. 9-year-old Peter and 8-year-old Aaron both suffered spinal injuries and are currently paralyzed from the waist down. 6-year-old Willa is recovering from a broken arm and leg. The three children are now under legal guardianship of their uncle and aunt. The Berry Children's Trust (
www.theberrychildren.org) has been established to help care for the children's ongoing needs.
Friday, July 22nd 100% of proceeds from all three of our tasti D-lite Houston stores will be donated to the Berry Children's Trust. With the additional matching support of generous donors, thus far, we have been able to secure a 3x multiple on every dollar spent at tasti D-lite on our fundraising day (for every $1 spent, $3 will be donated to the Berry Children's Trust). Donation boxes will also be set out for customers to make additional contributions in the stores on the 22nd.
This event takes place at all three tasti D-lite stores in Houston:
