Don't miss A CANVAS FOR A CAUSE, Radium/Reel FX's studio-wide charity art initiative that combines exclusive original art from local artists, affordable participation and a worthy cause. The event is in its 3rd year, and to-date has raised more than $17,000 for Children’s Medical Center, The American Red Cross, and Americans for the Arts. This year’s event will take place in the studio's Deep Ellum digs, and exclusively benefit Children’s Medical Center, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Children’s Child Life Program. Each year, A CANVAS FOR A CAUSE has grown in participation and attendance. This year, more than 200 canvases are expected to be offered for sale, almost doubling the number of canvases sold at the inaugural show.

All canvases offered for sale are the original works of Radium/Reel FX studio artists/employees, as well as special guest artists including local and national artists. Each participant was given a blank 10” x 10” canvas. Participants were allowed to transform the canvases using any style or media. Past canvases have used materials ranging from magnets and wood, to oil and acrylic paint, and charcoal and crayons.
Attendees will pay a donation/door fee of $10 for admission to the show. All art will be priced at an affordable $60. If the patron chooses to buy a piece of art, he or she will only have to pay the $50 difference between the entry fee and the price of the piece.
